• If you are facing a hardship that may prevent you from making mortgage payments, you may be eligible for a forbearance. This is different from deferring your payments. An eligible hardship to qualify for forbearance is one of the following: unemployment, reduction in income, increase in housing expense, disaster impacting the property, long-term or permanent disability, divorce or legal separation, separation of borrowers unrelated by marriage, civil union, or similar domestic partnership under applicable law. If you meet one of the above criteria, please complete this form and we will get back to you.

The health and safety of our borrowers, as well as the social responsibility to slow the spread of this virus, are our top priorities. As such, SEFCU Mortgage Services has taken the following measures to do our part:
Many loans are eligible for desktop, exterior only or automated valuation. You’re Mortgage Officer will advise you if your loan requires and inspection.
If your loan requires an interior inspection please know that our appraisers will wear a mask and gloves during the inspection for your safety and theirs. We ask that you maintain social distancing during the inspection.
Closings are taking place at various locations, utilizing vestibules and window partitions combined with phone and intercom communications.
